Filmmaking has been my passion for the past 30+ years, with no end in sight. I came up through the camera department thanks to an internship with Victor Duncan, and through a series of well-placed decisions found my way to being a Unit Stills Photographer.
It’s a long road from loading mags and exposing film to the mirrorless still cameras I use now. And I’ve loved every step of the journey. I still have my old blimp and the camera that fits inside…nostalgia can be a powerful thing. But now I’m enjoying the freedom of mirrorless, and the way it streamlines my job.
Stills has been my life and my calling, and through it I’ve had the biggest adventures anyone could ask for, with interesting people in far away places. I’m always looking forward to what’s next.
